Not very clear

No not you,...me.
I was trying to post on some other forums to direct them to Neuro Talk. But I don't want them to see my User Name. When I click on the second link, I see that Silverlady is logged in. Will it do that if I use the second link.

Thanks,
Billye

Billye, it's showing you as "Offline" right now on the forums.

Did you know there is an Invisible Mode? That way you can stay logged into the forums and post as you wish, without having your name showing in the list of users who are online.

To do that (if you don't know already), you need to go to User CP up on the top left hand side of the screen just under where it shows the Logo... NeuroTalk. I am not sure if this is what you might find helpful, but I'll post it just in case,
take care,
Lara

so click on

User CP

Edit Options (in Settings & Options)

check Use Invisible Mode in little box

scroll down page

and press Save Changes.

p.s. I just tested it as I type.
I forgot. It'll still show your name in the list of users to YOU, but it will have an asterisk next to your name. e.g. Lara* ... that means other users don't see my name in the list, but I can. hth

billye...

anytime you click on the links and you are logged in...it will show Silverlady. it will not show Silverlady to the person you send send the link to. or anyone from another forum, if you post it on a message.

This was what I needed. Thanks both of you. I got it linked and checked.

I learned something today too. :D
