How urgent?
 

Having frequent red and white blotchy handa, now that I realize this is from lack of circulation it's starting to worry me, more because of the possibility of subclavian steal...what are the chances of something like a blot clot or something dangerous forming without knowing it? ( Are you supposed to be able to see so many blue veins there too?) I get a pulsing and nausea, floaters, dizzy, headaches and migraines...

My understanding is its not arterial tos until you have an aneurysm or something, but the subclavian artery is compressed in arms down position...did anyone manage this conservatively or is surgery inevitable? I pretty much know I'm past conservative management, but I'm having a hard time with having to take so much time off and take it easy for surgeries...This slows me down anyway but after surgery I couldn't push myself over the limit anymore...Two years is really hard to wrap my head around after all the tos related problems already...

I had/have compression of the subclavian artery as well as ntos. Get the best surgeon you can. Dr. Donahue and Dr. Pearl have the best reputations in my book.


I've had TOS for 11 years now. I had surgery 9/3/2014 and have the other side scheduled in 5 months.
