Need Prayers For My Son, Please!!

OK, ya'll. I intend to stay calm and not over react to this.

My oldest son Matt had a doctor's appointment this afternoon. He said he was having chest pains but he thought it was due to a pulled muscle because it was on the left side of his chest and sort of behind the breastbone. He worked out yesterday and said that he lifted heavy so he assumed he pulled something.

He just got home and said that they sent him for an x-ray and he had an EKG done, also. The doctor seems to think he has fluid around his heart!! He got a prescription for something...I can't remember what it is. The doctor put him out of work until they figure out what's going on.

He had a heart mummer has a child but apparently it closed up on it's own. The doctor said that would have nothing to do with this, anyway.

Ya'll please keep Matt in your prayers. I'm worried about him and won't feel comfortable until we know what's going on.

Thanks for praying for him. :grouphug:

Sending up prayers.

The med is probably lasix. It helps to get rid of the fluid.

I hope everything is alright. I know as a mom, no matter how old your children are, we worry.
