paib after ESI

I had an ESI at c5-6 this morning, and it's almost midnight here. My neck is so sore. I just started icing it and it's helping.

is it normal to be inthis much pain now? i stayed home from work today because it was so bad, and am considering tomorrow. :(

I know that they at first, had a hard time getting to where the injectin needed to go for some reason. you think they could have hit the nerve?

When I have an epidural, its the latter part of the second day I really feel comfortable getting up and doing stuff.
