stress test tomorrow

Hi, I was wondering if you guys could be keeping me in your prayers. Tomorrow i have to have the thalium stress test. Last week, I had an emg, and it came up abnormal, so I have to have the stress test, but they're doing it with out me getting on the tread mil, so I'm a little nervous. I've had it before, and all didn't go so well, and another time it was fine. So, I'm asking if you guys could please being praying for me, and for all to go well, no bad reactions to the injection. I'm resting today, so I'll be half way decent tomorrow.
I'll let ya know how it all goes.
Oh, and hey, is anyone thinking about going to the MG convention this year?
it's in DC.
Love Lizzie

I hope all goes well for you, Lizzie! I remember, not fondly, I'm afraid, the infamous chemical stress test. However, I've survived it several times now, you will too! :D

Well, did you survive, Lizzie? How did it go?
Hopefully, all went well, with minimal discomfort, and good results!
Hugs,

Well, all did not goes as well as I would have liked;however, if it wasn't for prayers, I truly believe yesterday could have been a disaster. First, the injection caused me to almost vomit, it was touch and go there for a while. I even asked if I could just lay on the floor.
I had this surge of weakness like I just don't know how to put into words. I couldn't even hold that little bassin they gave me. And then, we found out, that we had just missed being in a 60 car pile up on the thruway. (it was snowing really bad out) What should have taken us less than an hour to get home, took 3 hours, that's how bad it was out. And all major roads were closed due to the accident, so everyone was detoured. Could barely see the person infront of us.
I was so sleepy and weak, I slept most of the way home, and then crawled into bed, and slept til this morning.
Thankfully I don't have to have that test often. Usually once or twice a year.

My daughter must have called every 15 minutes, she had such a bad feeling, and was praying for me all morning. (She lives in Columbus Ohio, it was sunny and beautiful there  )
thank you so much for your prayers, it really does make a difference, and Our Lord, truly does answer prayers.
thank you
love lizzie

Wonderful that it is over, and that you survived the test, and the drive home afterward! Did they have any idea why it caused you such severe fatigue and nausea?

They said that it would make my body react the same as if I were to really excercise. So they said probably either mg, or dysautonomia. Either way it wasn't good.
My husband who was right behind me turning the test, said that my next was bright red, and he is going to tell the doctor that unless absolutely necessary, he'd rather me not have to go through this so often. It's too hard on my system. I'm always down for several days afterwards, when nothing goes wrong;let alone, when it does. I still need to know whether or not it's on our list of meds to avoid.
I'll let you know when I find out.
love lizzie
