Our Vacation Might Get Cancelled...
 

We were planning a week on St Simon's Island fishing...well with the all the unwanted visitors trying to tear up all the land we might not be able to go.

We are hoping that by Thurs. the worst of the storms will be over and we can go...I have already paid for the entire trip. This is the first family vacation we have been on in over three years...soooo, I'm hoping we will be able to make it.

Aww...I'm sorry. It looks like we're going to get hit with Hurricane Hannah, though. Where I am (north of Atlanta) we'll probably just get rain and maybe some thunderstorms. But Savannah looks like it's right in the path. Maybe it'll turn around and stay out at sea.

I hope you get to take your vacation. I haven't been on a vacation in seven years so I know how you feel.

I'm about 90 miles from Savannah, so either way...if it comes...we're gonna get a lot of water...

I went through all of this when I lived in Florida and we moved up here because my DH said...Georgia never gets hurricanes...did he listen to me...

I hope you'll get to go Momma. We cancelled our summer fishing/camping trip because of the economy situation. Ours hadn't been paid for yet though. I hope you'll be able to get a refund if you can't go.

Hoping the weather doesn't ruin your plans! The stupid storm's taking forever to make up its mind.

Well sure hope you get your trip in and get to catch some fish. I will be up for a fish fry. The wind makes for some good natural jigging, just dont rock the boat baby. Maybe I could duct tape your boat a buoy.

JMiller, it would be more like taping me inside the boat...we have a bass boat as compared to the pontoon we sold. lol Three years ago I lost my balance and fell off the boat, I hit the dock and bruised up my face pretty well. I didn't go alone though, took my BIL down with me...he didn't get hurt.

I have been on boats my whole life...no one believed I fell off...they had to see the pictures...

Could you use maroon duct tape, it will match the new carpet in the boat...along with the new seats. lol
