Technical research study report

"MY Experience Using Nicotine to Manage My Parkinson's Disease Symptoms" is the report I put together in 2012 on the research I did in January 2011.

So far I have not figured out hoe to post a copy of the report ( it may be too large) so if anyone interested wishes a copy send your email address to **

I have continued to use nicotine gum to mitigate my Parkinson's symptoms since I did the experiment in 2011. I am settling on a dosage of about 20 mg per day. I also take about 18 - 21 25 carbidopa 100 levodopa tabs per day and use Meripex ER and azilect. I still drive my pickup but that I am doing less and less of it mainly because of side effects to the meds.

mcstubbe,

Welcome to the forum. You'll find lots of discussion of the results reported in scientific journals and a limited, but interesting, number of posts about the poster's own research.

I look forward to reading your report. Have you tried attaching it to a post?

You may be interested in reading the posts of villiers who is also using nicotine, e.g.

I notice that you're on a high daily dose of levodopa of about 2000mg, plus Meripex, plus Azilect. Have I understood it correctly?

John
