Technical research study report
"MY Experience Using Nicotine to Manage My Parkinson's Disease Symptoms" is the report I put together in 2012 on the research I did in January 2011.
So far I have not figured out hoe to post a copy of the report ( it may be too large) so if anyone interested wishes a copy send your email address to ** I have continued to use nicotine gum to mitigate my Parkinson's symptoms since I did the experiment in 2011. I am settling on a dosage of about 20 mg per day. I also take about 18 - 21 25 carbidopa 100 levodopa tabs per day and use Meripex ER and azilect. I still drive my pickup but that I am doing less and less of it mainly because of side effects to the meds. |
mcstubbe,
Welcome to the forum. You'll find lots of discussion of the results reported in scientific journals and a limited, but interesting, number of posts about the poster's own research. I look forward to reading your report. Have you tried attaching it to a post? You may be interested in reading the posts of villiers who is also using nicotine, e.g. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread142373.html I notice that you're on a high daily dose of levodopa of about 2000mg, plus Meripex, plus Azilect. Have I understood it correctly? John |
