fatigue & muscle twitches

How long after concussion will i have fatigue? It's pretty bad at times, I almost feel sick from it. I'm also having a lot of muscle twitches in my legs near my calves and ankles. Not sure why I have that now. . Not sure if that is from the pcs but it started like 1 week ago. I received a pretty Decent concussion Aug 8th 2015. Thanks for your help

Muscle twitches can be from a magnesium deficiency. Some mag citrate may help.

Fatigue often is due to insomnia or poor sleep. But, for some it take months for the brain to recover. What are your daily activities like ?

The legs might be helped with some Morton’s Epsom lotion.. especially if muscle related.

I'm just chiming in on this fatigue part? I NEVER used to get fatigued, but lately I have REALLY been having problems [emoji33] my severe TBI, from being hit by a truck (car crash) was in 2001. Migraines been back again but this fatigue crap has got to go! I don't have time for it. I get the insomnia part, because my sleep is for ****, so that makes sense. This is just new. Little freaky.

chrybmb,

Has anybody observed your sleep for breathing irregularities ? Sleep apnea can cause waking during the night.

Thx mark, cam I take a bath with Epson salt for the mg deficiency? Is that safe to do? I work 1 day a week, have school 12 hrs per week plus a Lil homework daily. I'm also a mom to a 5 and 15 yr old.

I. Haven't been. Observed for sleep. I was getting poor sleep until 5 days ago. I have been sleeping better. So not sure why I have this. It's much worse before monthly cycle. I came have it for a hour or so and if I stop doing stuff then it can be better, or taking a short nap can help. I just feel like when will that end and what is it from? My brain , or depression, or anxiety I dunno ?

Sweet,

I had spasms in my calfs and hamstrings. The spasms are gone now but still stiff. I will take the improvement any day!

So I noticed fatigue relating to what I do in a day, or stress and thinking too much. When will that go away ? I'm 4 months post incident. . Help I hate being so fatigued.

Sweet,

I don't know if anybody can give you a definitive answer for your case.

I am 20 months and still deal with mental fatigue but it doesn't upset me that much anymore...I just take a break.

Bud
