Hi Diane

Hi Diane,

I have hydrocephalus and chronic headaches and pain. Do you have hydro? You should look up LIZARD she has eplisly(seizures) I think she would be a good person for you to talk to. If you cannot find her on the eplisily fourm try on the Hydrocephalus fourm because she is always there.

Pain and seizures

I was searching the web trying to find the link between pain and seizures and I found your message. I am learning that pain and seizures go hand in hand. I have chronic pain from and injury and it brought back my seizures. Now I have uncontrolled partial siezures. The doctors tell me they can not find a physical relation to the two but I know what my body is telling me. If you type in articles on chronic pain and seizures, there is a new drug for siezures and chronic pain combined. I can't remember the name of it but it sounds like it targetw the sensory part of the brian that controls seizures and pain sensory. Worth looking into.
Keep your chin up, I feel your pain too. For me I can not get the surgery as my seuzires are not focused but for now my grand mals are under control. Sometimes I fear the doctors know about as much as us, we just have to keep telling them until the understand that when it comes to symptoms we are the experts. Only some one who has had a seizure can truly understand how an aura feels.
