Israeli Medical Startup Develops First Simple Blood Test for Parkinson's Disease

The data for this important finding comes from the PPMI study, which we have spoken about previously and some of us volunteered for as participants. The data from this long term observation of thousands of PWP and healthy controls is open source and available for anyone's use for research purposes. A blood test to help with a PD diagnosis would be a huge advancement as well as a step in the direction of easy biomarker evidence of disease progression.
