Parathyroid and SFN

Hello wise ones,
Is it worth having parathyroid checked?
Have you seen anyone actually have this issue and have neuropathy resolve?
TIA

Except for the possibility--

--of some tingling that may come with calcium dysregulation, especially around the mouth/lips/face, I haven't heard of any reliable reports of widespread neuropathy resulting from parathyroid hormone issues.

It's not a bad idea to have your parathyroid hormones checked if you are having calcium issues--usually, if your adjusted serum calcium levels are near the top of the lab range and an ionized calcium level (somewhat more accurate test) id done along with parathyroid hormone levels. Depending on what comes out of those tests there may be a decision to explore your parathyroids further.
