PWP emergency - how to avoid

Parkinson's is full of traps. There are situation where normal people come out with no problems, but Parkinson's patient may have a big problem and even die.
Parkinson's specialists usually don't talk about it, family doctors don't know much about it. I think this is situation where we can help each other sharing information.
I will start first, hope this helps people who have been diagnosed not long time ago.

Trap #1
Pwp usually have frequent urination problem for which doctors prescribe pills for overactive bladder. It took me 2 visits to ER where they found 2 stomach blockages to stop this pills. It looks like while relaxing muscles of bladder it also relaxed muscles of the stomach rendering it not operable. It's been 4 years since I've stopped this pill and I've never had this problem again.

Trap #2
Pwp often have spine problems - Parkinson's ruins our spines. In some cases spine problems are very painful. Pain management office can help with epidural shot. Hospital offers anti-inflammatory and painkilling IV drugs.
The danger in both cases that leg muscles get weakened and can't push blood up back to the heart. In my case foot got swollen (DVT) and then blood clots were pushed to the lungs.
So if you have to do it - take blood thinners in advance: adult aspirin or prescription ones, it may save your life.

Thank you, now it's your turn.
