Woweee! I want one!

A friend called me this morning to tell me about this segment that appeared on NBC's Today Show. This is a new electronic stimulus device for drop foot and it's amazing!

I thought it was pretty interesting. They did say it wouldn't work for just anyone. You have to be able to walk some.

Sounds wonderful for those of us who can still walk. Too late for me, Im afraid. A day late and a dollar short..

For you and others, still resonably ambulatory, it could be a godsend..:)

I hope your Ins. covers it, Cin..

Wow! I am amazed at what this device can do! Why have we not heard about this????

brandonwall 01-27-2009 06:30 PM

If I get to the point of needing that ill dish out the 500 a month or just pay 6 grand for it.

That's a good question Cheryl. Why haven't we heard about this
before.
She said that she has been using it for 2 yrs. So you can guess that
it has been in trial for sometime.

My DS called me this morning to put the TV on and what the program
was about.

It sounds great, but as usual everything good has a big $$$ on it.

Man oh man, you've got to seriously check this out AMN!! If this is w/in your reach, it would be amazing. Keep us posted.

I called a Girlfriend, here in town, about it and she said she had been trying to qualify for it. Her Physiatrist told her she wasn't strong enough for it, yet. She needed more PT.

So,I guess, it's not for everyone.
She wears a brace for her foot drop now, and says, it really helps.
