Upper rib fractures?

Did anyone else have upper rib fractures on their TOS side?

I know these are not common. Sometimes I feel like how my ribs have healed has caused my TOS. I have a TON of scar tissue, the worst is over my ribs and in my armpit. PT is really aggravating things, and surgery has been suggested, but I can't quite seem to pick up the phone to schedule.

My PT is great but I am wondering if any of you have struggled with 'extreme' scar tissue and how you fared trying to work that out.

I do have vascular involvement. I am concerned about the risk of blood clots. Did any of you who had blood clots know you have TOS before the clot?
