Active Release Technique
 
Has anyone tried or had any success with active release technique and/or massage? http://www.activerelease.com/what_patients.asp - considering trying it to see if it yields any sort of help.

Not specifically by name, but my chiro does a mix of maneuvers as needed.

Any thoughts to the effectiveness of it for TOS? Could they do those on Pec Minor, Scalenes, etc. ? Pros or cons versus other things? Just trying to think of other things to try when my PT runs out with insurance.

there is a technique where you apply pressure to a sore spot. then move to a position that seems to lessen the pain and hold there for 2-3 minutes. if such a position can be found.
