Dr. Hae-Dong Jho?

Has anyone been to see Dr. Hae-Dong Jho? His website has some fascinating information on Occipital Neuralgia (ON), among other conditions.

My friend with ON is planning to visit him in Pittsburgh for a consultation and possible nerve decompression surgery. Has anyone been to see him and have surgery for ON with him? I've only found a 3 people who have and each of them have different opions from "he gave me my life back" to "I couldn't go through with the procedure when he told me I had to come off my pain meds".

Did your friend ever travel to Pittsburgh to see Dr Jho? I had a nerve root block with him last week and have another appointment to discuss surgery.
Please let me know what your friend's experience was with him.
Thanks so much.

I read about him in the medical literature and have a similar interest in learning about any success or failure in his treatments. I did feel that reports of his successes in treating ON were based on carefully selected patients who would have a high probability of success. I'm not really a cynic, just realistic after almost 6 years of terrible occipital pain.
