Azilect/Requip question

Am I correct that both Azilect and Requip are MAO-B inhibitors? And if so, what is the purpose of taking both of them as a carbidopa/levodopa extender as opposed to just taking one of them?

Azilect/Requip

Incorrect. Azilect is a MAO-B inhibitor, Requip is a dopamine agonist similiar to Mirapex or the Neupro patch. It's fairly standard peocedure to be prescribed both with or without Sinemet or other L-dopa drugs.

I currently take both Azilect and Mirapex.
