Ugh... I don't WANNA!

WARNING: This is a whine session that can be long and is really unnecessary, I just need to vent.

I'm so tired of this! Every time I get used to symptoms new ones pop up or my old ones get worse.

My legs are getting worse again, they're just getting so weak again. I'm getting to the point where I may need my walker again to get around. I have to use it to sit on any time I'm in the kitchen doing dishes. My house is trashed because I don't have the energy!

The fatigue has gotten to the point I almost can't do anything again. I'm just so tired I can barely walk my daughter to and from the bus stop.

My facial pain has gotten worse AGAIN!

My legs feel like the muscles are tightened up and wont relax, and they have been twitching.

The headache has gotten worse again, and I wont up the medicine for that, I just cant tolerate the side effects.

I know there was more I wanted to say, but I'm just too tired to think.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Kristie

I'm sorry you're struggling. Could it be the change in seasons/weather that's causing your flare ups? I know mine do when the weather turns cooler in the Fall. The humidity also does bad things to me.

Sometimes it seems like a never-ending game with MS. Just as soon as we get to the point of being able to tolerate a certain symptom.....another one pops up but the first one doesn't go away. Sometimes I just want to scream "Enough!".

I hope things get a easier for you and that your symptoms ease up for you. If there's anyone who can lend a hand let them help with the housework. Accepting help isn't a sign of weakness or giving up....you're just giving someone else a chance to help you out and to feel good about doing something for others.

Yes, our weather was beautiful, then it rained for two days and now it's beautiful again. That is really difficult for me.

Exactly! That is just how I feel!

My husband told the kids that if they help me with the house he will give them some money (they are 4 and 6 years old, so there's not too much they can do) so they will try at least. Then when he gets off work, if he has time in between every thing else he is doing, he will help as well.

Thank you for the kind words, I'm sure I will be fine, I just needed to vent. But I may end up calling my neuro if this gets any worse.

Hey News, I think you should call the Doc. You could be having an exacerbation and if it's bad enough, then a dose of IVSM may help.

I hope you feel better real soon..

Thank you Sally. If I call the doctor the only thing she's going to do for me is giving something for symptoms if she can. I can't do IVSM unfortunately. But thanks again.

Sorry to hear you're feeling crappy.

If you can afford it, I would highly recommend getting a cleaning service in every other week. It dramatically improved my quality of life. I no longer do any deep cleaning, just general tiding.

Even if you don't intend on taking any 'roids, you should still go to your GP to rule out underlying infections that may be causing a pseudo relapse.

Yeah, I should call my doc I know. I guess I'm just tired of going in to the doctor for a problem to just have them throw their hands up and say, "Yep, it's a flare..... but there's nothing we can do about it!" I'll probably call tomorrow.

A cleaning service, even once a week, wow, I would feel so spoiled :) But unfortunately we can't even afford the bills we have now :( I'm glad it has helped you so much. My husband tried so hard to do that for us but we just couldn't swing it, not even once a month for an hour. Maybe some day we'll get to the point where we can, just not yet.

Is there anything a locla MS society could help with. I have never joined one so I don't know if they offer tings like assistance with house work. Also when I saw 'problems walking my kids to the bus stop' it made me wonder. Is there some subconscious depression there because your kids are getting older. I know they aren't very old at all but if they are going off on a bus they are going into a situation that we as Moms aren't completely in control over and that can be depressing.

Well, I live in a small town about 2 hours from where any MS society would be. :( So I don't think there's much they can do. If my walking problems were just when I took her to the bus I would agree with that. But unfortunately they are all the time. I'm sure the weather changing drastically two times in one week has something to do with it.I'm just so tired of this disease, I want to quit it! If only I could huh, I wouldn't even give a two week notice

Thank you for the advise, sometimes I do wish I lived closer to some resources that could help me out. Okay I'm gonna go watch Super Why with my son. Thanks again.

Kristie, I hope you are feeling better..I just wanted to say that there are days that I wish I wern't here on earth, but like you my kids keep me going. I find that when I have a "good" day, which isn't too often but never the less, I pick an area such a cabinet/closet and use bins to organize the stuff (dollar store bins are what I use) and over the summer I was able to get most of our cabinets organized. I also find a grabber (my birthday gift to myself) to be the most handy of items...it keeps you from wasting effort to bend over to pick up after the kids..put the kids junk in a basket for each and let them put it away...I know, right now it seems like a monumental effort, just take baby steps when the MS lets up..I have found these little things make it a bit easier when you feel horrible. Oh and dust? those bunnies can wait...

Your hubby sounds like a good man,
I have two kids, three in house dogs, and one cat...and a hubby that couldn't find compassion in the dictionary much less in his heart. And yes I was angry when DH wanted the third dog when I couldn't keep up with the ones I have. I have one of those "provider type" men that think that once they come home they can sit on the sofa till dinner is ready and then return to the sofa till it's time to go back to work...aaahhhh...need to start a post of my own!?!? oh well, it is great to come here and think of other people's problems and not just my own. I hope you feel better soon, god bless, Jeanne:hug:
