looking for good gluten/allergy free online food store
 

I am looking for a few good places to shop online for gluten-free and allergy free foods. I would like to try and save as much money as possible, but do not want to be ordering from 10 different websites to do so. A few good websites with a big selection and cheap prices would be great.

If you could give me a list of some good places to shop, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

There are many ideas at these websites, but buying gluten free prepared foods is expensive (at least for my budget.)

I go to my local health food grocery store and get pasta for my husband and ingredients for gluten free baking.

I get some of the ingredients from amazon's website. I use a lot of corn tortillas, and corn and rice chex.

I also bought a bread machine and gluten free bread baking book to go along with it (the machine was expensive but I'll save a lot over buying gluten free breads in the store.)

Whole Foods grocers have a pretty good selection from what I hear. Also, Trader Joes does too, but we don't have either of those close to us.

I am lucky that all of our local grocery stores carry some gf products, and one store carries an extensive aisle. Consequently it has been years since I've done much online shopping.

I used to sometimes order online from the Gluten Free Trading Company in Milw, WI. You can find it by google. I could drive there in thirty minutes, but sometimes it was just easier to order online. They have a wide selection. I'm not sure how their prices compare to others... but... there is also a wide variety on Amazon.com. Just search there under Grocery : Gluten free.

First check around locally... perhaps there is someplace close you can shop that you aren't aware of. It sometimes helps to contact the most local support group, and they can tell you the best places to shop.
