Article on linking hip surgery to PN

Here's an interesting article looking at inflammatory neuropathy occurring after hip surgery.

Thanks, Marlene. I've always suspected this, as part of the patient's reaction to a foreign body....We've had some posters here with knee replacements too, who have had PN afterwards which did not respond well to conventional treatments.

I wish the article would detail exactly which type of immunotherapy would be advised. IVIG? or methotrexate, etc?
Or Enbrel or Humira?

Steroids?

This is the source from Mayo Clinic. I watched the very short video and the only thing they mentioned was the use of steroids with some patients in the study.

I am trying to decide whether or not get a dental implant. There can be negative consequences with them too...nerve issues, bio-compatability of the materials, bone graphs. The older I get, the more conservative I get with treatment options.
