no esi yet

the doc wouldn't give me an esi as my blood pressure was very high and he was affraid i would have a stroke, so my pcp gave me blood pressure meds. and i am resheduled for 2 weeks.
hows that for getting all worried about it. I don't think it had anything to do about being nervous as i was much more nervous when i went for my 2nd surgery.
must be all the stress i have been under. has this happened to anyone else?

Thank you all for your input once again deb:grouphug:

AWWW, ((((((Deb)))))),

I saw your other message :( I was so hoping that you could get the ESI -- hopefully a GOOD one that worked.

You know I believe The Universe oversees what we do. And steps in for us, too. Sometimes, whacks us up-side the head when we don't pay attention :p

Sounds like The Universe might have stepped in and interrupted this whole process so that you could get some "guarantees" in place before the procedure. I'd take this time to make sure 'fluoroscope' and also to check into that hospital that you were told about.

I haven't personally experienced surgery being canceled because of BP, but, I've heard of it.

It's a shame. I was really hoping for you to come back with a big grin on your face. Maybe this two weeks will be good for you. It was good to find out that your blood pressure was out of control -- that's dangerous.

Stay strong. BREATHE DEEPLY. And try not to overdo "anything" over the next two weeks -- see if you can keep the pain monster under some semblance of control.

BIG HUGS.

Thsnks Barb

I two was wishing that i could get the esi over with, and that it would help, the doc thought it (bp) was high becausse i was nervous, but i don't think so as i was very nervous with the 2nd surgery and pressure was fine, anyway am now on bp meds and i was feeling alot better, no shaking little headache, still pain but little better until.

About an hour into work on sat. when i was given the boot, they are so worried about me becoming paralized and can't stand to see me in pain everyday that they are putting me on disibility again, now i know i really can't work asthe pain is so bad, but did they have to do it now. don't know how i will pay my bills, let alone get my 4 children xmas gifts-- gee wonder why i have high bp.

thanks to all deb:mad:

Does this mean that you don't have disability insurance coverage?? Or you do, but it's lousy??

I don't want to say "it's a good thing" -- 'cause I'm sure you don't think it is. But, with the bad flare up and the kind of work that you do, isn't it better (really) to not be working 'til you get the pain monster back in his cage??

Don't 'things' always seem to happen when your money is tight and you're counting on the next check... I used to swear The Universe could tell when my wallet was empty. Wouldn't it be great if we could get a sort of "people insurance" -- insurance that would bring people in to do our job for a very-very-very low fee until we got back on our feet

You've had two surgeries in just a short time and I'm sure the job isn't helping with the recovery (other than financially :p ).

I hope you get your balance back SOON. And get the pain monster to realize that he's been EVICTED and he ain't living here anymore.

BIG HUGS.

Barb

hi barb

yes i have been on disibility twice so far once in 06 and again in 07.

It' just that this is a church we are talking about. and i am kind of my own boss, so have really loved working there. thou they r most likely right about me not being up to it, they really picked a a bad time. this will be the 1st time that i cann't pay any of my bills.

And with xmas coming i won't be getting any of the bonuses i ususally get which adds up to about 700$. so they are really messing me up.

But u know what i don't think they will find anyone willing to stay till 2am om xams eve to make sure the church is cleaned for xmas services, which i have done for the past 5 yrs, not because i had to, but because i was kind enough to..

Well gotta make some more phone calls, i am not letting this one go.

oh by the way hss won't take my ins. so will have to wait ford wc-- mwhich should have been my ins. all along as i got hurt at work--- sometimess i think the people with goodness and caring in them get the wsorse end os the stick.

take care all and will str to write back soon deb
