Myoclonic jerks

My jerks began about 6 months ago. At first they were so slight, that I thought I was imaging it. The jerks are so bad now, that I dropped a bowl of cereal this morning. It is difficult typing and putting on make-up! :(
Has anyone else experienced this.

Yup, I have the same exact thing! started about 5 months ago. Hand eye coordination, fine motor skills have been affected. My facial muscles spasm and contort to the point it hurts. Yesterday there was a simutaneous jerk from the back of both of my thighs that caused me to lurch backwards in my chair. this had never happened before.

I did go to ER yesterday because it was the worst it had ever been. waiting on blood results. But I have been strongly urged to get a neuro consult from my pcp when I see him tomorrow.
