The Fluoride Theory

Greetings! Some of you may have heard about the theory that excess fluoride can cause fibromyalgia. The symptoms of fluoride toxicity match those of fibromyalgia. Many drugs such as Cipro, prozac and anesthesias contain fluoride. It is possible to have your fluoride blood level measured. This is a lab test your doctor can order. As someone with fibromyalgia, I am "happy" to report that my fluoride level was quite high. At least I know the cause for my suffering, which has now greatly improved. I switched to bottled water, went organic, and brush my teeth with baking soda. I highly recommend getting this lab test. Your physician can look it up in the lab manual indexing lab tests. It only took a few days to get the results. Good luck!!!

Hi Cinnamon......thank you for the input. I am happy that you have found some answers, and are feeling better. I have made some of these changes. There are so many theories out there about Fibro. I think everyone has to find what might be causing these symptoms for themselves. It may be so personal, as everyone is different. I am being tested for Celiac's, and have started a gulten free diet. I hope this may help to decrease symptoms. The only thing I have not done is switch toothpaste. It is worth a try. Interesting that some medications contain this element. I did not know that you could be tested for that.
