Re

Hi there,
Welcome to neurotalk, I suffer from RSD in my right arm and left leg, I am 12 years old. My first injury happened on the 16th March 2007, it was a normal day, I was at school, my mom picked me up at the end of the day and I went to her workplace. When we were walking down some steps I fell and twisted my left ankle. It hurt a lot, my mom took me to hospital to have it X-rayed but nothing showed up, I was later reffered for physiotherapy, which did not work, and my physiotherapists said I was "putting it on". My mom went mad and arranged for me to go to another hospital, where I was diagnosed with RSD, 4 months after the original injury.
My second injury happened in July, I was put on amytriptyline by my PM doctor which caused my eyes to go blurry and I slipped in the bath and knocked my right arm, which again resulted in RSD. I was diagnosed 2 weeks later.
If you want some help/advice or anything I am here.
Pain free hugs
Alison
