What about RSd and Numb Feet Both of them?

:grouphug:Is there a correlation between the numb feet all of a sudden and the pain changing after 6 months or so and then the blood pressure changes and irregular heart rate??? And on and on and on.. If so, It just keeps getting better???

That's a good way ta put it SG! On and on, and better and better....

My feet are numb, and my hands sometime too. That's neuropathy.
It's like what people with diabetes get. The nerves in the extremities are pretty much shot, (real medical term) and you get the tingling, or numb feeling.

Heart rate and BP you got to talk to your doctor about, so do I, as a matter of fact. I was in my pharmacy last week, and used their "free" machine, and my "rating" was in the top tier. (the worst). Huh? When did this happen?

Anyway, about the numbness, I don't think there's anything to be done, just keep exercising, Use it or Lose it...

Feel well,

Pete

My wife's toes are numb now and a little swollen after 7 years of RSD. One thing that has stayed steady and perfect is her blood pressure. However my blood pressure has risen! :D

It is possible I guess to have PN and RSD...

If this is the case there are supplements to help the PN part.
Please visit our PN forum and read a bit.

I'd also get a serum level tested for B12 and Vit D. Make sure you get your numbers for B12, since some doctors pass very low levels as "normal" still in US.

Both of these nutrients are not expensive and can do a world of good. In fact a new Vit D video has been released based on the newest research...it will amaze you...
The projected decreases in some chronic conditions are something to consider.

My foot with RSD goes pretty numb on and off all the time. It is really annoying as when it is really bad, I can't walk or move it. It's strange as even though it is often numb, I still have excrutiating pain in it.

We spoke to my Doctors about it and he said that it was a common symptom of RSD unfortunately and that there isn't much you can do about it other than to try and move your affected limbs as much as possible.

My BP is always either too high or too low according to my doctor - it is never in the 'normal' range. It gets really bad sometimes that I actually feel as though I am going to collapse. I always have to be careful when getting out of the bath tub or standing up etc and go really slowly otherwise I get really dizzy.

I'd speak to your doctor if I was you and rule all other possibilities out. Don't just put everything down to RSD all the time - especially if you have a new symptom that you have never had before.

I hope you start feeling better soon and you're in my thoughts and prayers!!

Alison
