SCS trial scheduled really fast

Hi everyone,

What a crazy week it has been. Yesterday my pain Dr's nurse called me and said that they were trying to get insurance auth. for SCS trial and she would be back in touch asap. Today while out enjoying lunch with my mother I got a call from the nurse saying that they got the auth. from the insurance company and that the Dr needed me to go to a hopsital near by and have rush bloodwork drawn.
I am now going into surgery this Monday in the late morning. OMG, I was not prepared to have everything move so fast. The nurse told me that the Dr was pushing to get this ASAP. His nurse was soooo sweet, she actually called me late today to wish me luck and that she would pray for me. What a warm fuzzy.....

If I were you Wibley and If I felt it was worthwhile I would take that experience directly to the nearest purveyor of Lotto tickets and buy a one dollar power ball...... or are they two dollars...... anyway you get my drift, WONDERFUL!:hug:
Prayin for good TRIAL:hug::grouphug:

Awesome. You will either love it (I almost creid when I was having it removed) or will resolve it. Very fortunate, IMO.

Praying and believing for the best results. Try to settle down and rest now. Gentle hugs.

Hi Wibley! Sounds like you are a bit overwhelmed and scared too. Things did happen pretty fast! Something I could offer you is to continue to express your feelings over the next day or so, don't bottle it up. It is normal to be apprehensive, esp. when you haven't had time to emotionally prepare. I will share that I had a SCS implanted 15 months ago and have never ever regretted it and count my blessings every day. I sincerely hope that everything goes well for you and I will be thinking of you. :)

Wow!

This moved along AMAZINGLY fast!!
Monday will be a big day for you. Like the others have said, do your best to rest easy, altho I know there's too much excitement involved. The docs know what they are doing, so trust in that.
PLUS, you've got all these prayer warriors lookin out for you! :cool:

Will anxiously be awaiting an update,

Rae

That's awesome! My first one took about three weeks. In fact it only took a two months temp to perm. This one? Well....not so much. Great news though! Lots of luck on Monday! :-)

I'm a new member,and uncertain where write my reply? Regardless, I'm on my second SCS, it isn't an end all for me, but certainly a very effective tool! With luck, it may be your perfect answer!! Good Luck smchurch
