Bloody Nose?

I have not had a bloody nose since I was young....I have a humidifier in my house. My ears have been hurting me bad lately from vestibular therapy...long story short I had to sit in a state office under those horrible lights to get scolded and threatened and treated inhuman and walk out ready for melt down...melt down happens nose starts bleeding BAD!Is this from sitting under those horrible lights for 2hrs?Or my ears?Or anxiety from this person?I do not know....PEOPLE SUCK!!!!:grouphug:

Many questions and thoughts arise here:

- the vestibular therapy is causing you pain lately, why? - has there been change, increases in some part?

- State Office - sitting there getting scolded, why? threatened and treated inhuman? , why? - who has the right to subject you to that type of abuse?

- I know what you mean about 'those horrible lights" - all those ridiculous offices with those lights, that are bright, flickering, poorly designed and never cared for to maintain proper lighting and just horrible with the bothersome lighting that only those sensitive are bothered by - florescents are nightmarish.

Now, to the Nosebleeds:

1).you have humidification at home, so in that State office setting its almost a guarantee that your membranes dry out swiftly with poor humidity and poor air circulation;

2.) (more importantly) That stress, coupled with your stressors of your health problem, might have stimulated you into a blood pressure spike that could have lead you into a nose bleed - you might wish to check with your physician..... remember, we are brain injured persons and can have aberrant brain responses from outside stimulii, and need to be overly cautious at times when things are different from 'our ' norm.

Just saying.......

Explanation

Thanks for the response I appreciate it....First thing case worker said is "why are you driving?
"I automatically defended myself and said I only drive to appointments and not after dark or the days I have vestibular therapy and my OPT specialist said my eyes were good....
Case worker moving on to If you don't do this and blah blah by this date I will deny you(yelling pretty much)....

My phone rings it's one of my MDs I called before while waiting to see this ate up case worker(called MD about ears)I asked casework if she could hold real quick I had to take call...
as I answer case worker in background saying "NO I don't have time for this I will close your case NOW"I tell MD I'll call back....

Ate up caseworker goes and makes copy (at this point I think blood pressure was up IDK I never had high BP)She comes back and I said
"why are you wondering why I am driving still? I stated I been driving since accident in 2011 and I just got diagnosis" Ate up Caseworker said "oh I thought you just got a head injury".....SMDH...I was nice and polite and said thank you and went to car to have a melt down as I drove home!!!

WOW is that how society treats the disabled? I do not even want the help anymore....I will lose everything before that nasty attitude!!!:

Mia is it possible for you to have a friend or family go with next time? They can intervene and let this person know there is no reason for that behavior! That way you can not feel as though you have to defend yourself. If the case worker continues to be abusive ask to speak to their supervisor immediately. Let the supervisor know abusing a disabled person is against the law!! See the Americans with Disabilities Act!! If the case worker refuses to get a supervisor finish the meeting and seek out The supervisor before you leave.

I really wish it was a possibility I could have some help with this whole thing,My parents are taking care of my child and my finances so they have to work to help me and my child and I lost a lot of friends in past year and half....This is very frustrating....

everyday it is something else and why am I doing all this work when I suppose to be stress free?Meaning finding the Md's I need etc...makes me sick to my stomach that I think I am loosing strength!

I have 3impairments on my neuropshyc testing and I got a call saying I don't need cognitive rehab?!?!Why not?!I am going to pain management MD again today and telling him to give me the highest sedative I can get....I said I was not going to go this route but @ moment I need it to help my pain and sanity.I am getting tired..... :grouphug:

Next time you see this person tell them they have to comply to the ADA title II. Specifically 28 C.F.R. 35.150(a)(3). This is a federal law and all states, cities and towns are subject. The law states no person with a disability can be denied or barred or otherwise prevented from any services provided to anyone else. There are no exceptions or grandfather clauses to protect any municipality. Don't let them bully you. It is longer and more complicated but it does cover all services provided that a goverment office provides. Under these circumstances your disability rating is your shield.
