Choking My Spirit
 

breathing this air of normalcy is choking me
don't know how much more I can take
and I need some fresh waters to swim in
before this camels back breaks

I need to soar in the mountain sky
float aimlessly in the dead sea
I just need to truck on by, feel free

see I've made a bed I just can't lie in
built a boat that's sprung a leak
jumped into an abyss that's hard to climb
and my spirit feels so damned weak

I need to conquer my own Mount Everest
follow my own Inca trail
I just need to break out, make bail

coz breathing this air of normalcy is choking me
don't know how much more I can take
so I need some fresh waters to swim in
before this camels back breaks
