MRI Results and introduction

Hi I am new here I belong to another board and found this one as well, the following is my MRI resuts from 3/17/2008.

Findings: There are Surgical changes at the thoracolumbar junction consistent with the history of T12 Discectomy in 1998 there is no abnormal enhancement demonstrated on the post contrast images

At the T7-T8 level a right central posterior disc protrusion indents the thecal sac anteriorly with mild central canal stenosi and no significant neural foraminal narrowing. there is no evidence of cord impingement or compression

at the T10-T11 level, a right central posterior disc extrusion with caudal migration compresses the thecal sac anteriorly with moderate stenosis of the central canal. There is no significant deformity or compression of the spinal cord. the neural foramina demonstrates patency bilaterally

at the T12-L1 level, a right central posterior disc extrusion with cephalad migration is demonstrated. there is mild stenosis of the central canal without significant neural foraminal

Elsewhere within the thoracic spine, no other significant focal disc contour abnormalities are appreciated. Mild Degenerative changes are demonstrated without significant central canal or neural foraminal compromise

Impression:
Multilevel degenerative changes, with focal disc herniations at the T7-T8, T10-T11, and t12-L1 level are discussed in detail above

hi nukeum and welcome to NeuroTalk

sorry you havent had replies. perhaps no one felt confortable to try to comment when they may not have known the answers

many peole read these boards who are not members so the actual views of a post dont translate into how many posting members may have seen it.

anyway, I hope someone may have some insight for you and wish you well
Cheri
