shots and dental work

So after reading another post about IV's and blood test, does the same apply to flu shots and dental work done and requiring novacane injections. I've been wondering how to proceed with both of these items with my daughter, Ashton. She has had several IV's since she was diagnosed with RSD and didn't have any residual issues, thankfully. Your thoughts are so appreciated.;)

Hi Andrea,

I just had an IV done last week when I got my hand surgery. I was telling the nurse that they need to find a way to do away with the IV's with the technology these days they could. She laughed and said they should watch Star Trek and learn from it.

I hate IV's but what a person has to realize is there is no way around them if you are having surgeries or have life saving surgeries. I have had at least 100 iv's and shots since I developed RSD and so far so good.

I think what a person has to do is ask for blocks if it's with surgeries to help prevent the spread of the RSD. That might not always work but hopefully it will.

As far as dental. I haven't delt with that but I know others have and will say something to you about it.
