Did the MS Walk today.

We did the six mile route, the weather was great - not hot but a bit humid - no rain, partly sunny. Couldn't have asked for better weather. The walk took us through the town and down by the water. What a wonderful route.

The only bad part was after the walk there was a band in the cafeteria of the school where the water and food was being served. And like every other year this band was way too loud! I have complained many years about this to the NMSS and each year they have another loud band. Can you tell this annoys me? This year they had the other school doors locked so the only way into the bathrooms was past the band and their speakers. By the time I got back outside with my DD to sit on the grass outside I was sick to my stomach. Sorry for the vent! But each year I go back...

I am so thankful to my best friend who's been walking with me for 15 years. She's walked with me through the snow, sleet, rain and heat - whatever the weather is that year. Now that's a true friend!!! :Trapeze 2:

This years t-shirts for the volunteers and the walkers who raised enough money to get one, had a big white spot on the back that said I'm walking for (or volunteering for) and you could write in what you wanted. I thought that was really cool. My DD asked me about it during the walk when others were walking by with their t-shirts on and I told her you'd write in who you are walking for - she said no she'd write in she walks for MS and everyone who has it. Isn't she sweet?
