Muscle ache
I have an ache in my left calf area. It bothers me when I walk or when I am standing. I do not feel it when I am sitting, in bed or walking up and down stairs.
Is this a symptom of PN? For years I have had PN, but only in my toes and front portion of my feet, just mumbness and discomfort but no pain. |
Muscle pain in a lower extremity only when walking or using the leg is a signal of peripheral artery disease. I think you should tell your doctor and have it tested. They do ankle blood pressure first and if those are affected, then they do a doppler/ultrasound.
Peripheral artery disease may progress and block off the circulation to that leg, and you may develop a blood clot when that gets severe. So it needs evaluation. |
