drunk turkey?

I was thinking ... 'Would it be OK to put a little bourban in my T-giving dressing?' I bought the dressing cubes & you add broth &/or water. It's a 14oz bag. It calls for 2.5 cups of liquid and 1 stick of butter. How much bourban do you think I should add? I was thinking 2 cups broth & 1/2 cup bourban???

When i first saw the title of the thread it reminded me of a truly drunken turkey.
The alcohol will boil off during cooking. I do not remember how much is added.

Now for the turkey story. The animal vet lives next to my grandma's house in montana He has a garden that was having trouble with slugs. He set out dishes with beer in them.
The next morning he went out to see what was making a bunch of noises.
There was a turkey running around falling down and weaving.
He called his son to help him open the gate and herd the turkey out of the garden.

akamoose, I know the alchohol burns off, but I was wondering how good/bad 1/2 cup would do. Or should I use 1 cup? Thats what I meant .... you still get flavor. I had Amaretto cheesecake once at a restaurant & it was the best cheesecake I ever had.

Oh, add as much Bourban as you want.

Sounds cool to me. I don't drink but it sounds heavenly. I once had bourban chicken and I thought I died and gone to heaven.

Put 1/2 to 1 cup of bourbon in yourself while cooking the turkey and you'll be amazed at how good it tastes! LOL.
