My son Nik was on TV for the NIU memorial
 

I am so proud of my son Nik. He was interviewed for the NIU memorial this weekend and was on Rockford's news. I could tell he was emotional, bless his heart. He even got one of the final comments of the five lights.

Always sad, but glad to see your children are safe. Maybe someday all this horrible stuff will come to an end.

Seems as if Nik was emotionally affected by the vigil. I'm sure he'll always remember...and it probably gave him a new perspective on his life...a new view on how precious it is, and how precious loved ones are...
