Splitting a Forum?

I'm in chat right now with a few other people and we were asking about what topics we post under. I said I post in bipolar, and SOS, even tho my main health concern is Anxiety and Panic Attacks.

I've looked into posting in the Anxiety/OCD thread but everything I read is only about OCD so I don't post there.

But I feel like anxiety and OCD dont really fit together.

Does anyone agree?

We try to group similar conditions together so we don't end up with a long list of separate conditions with only a handful of posters posting under each topic.

Have you tried the search tool to find older posts?
I checked and found these -

Or start a thread for discussion of anxiety or questions about it and I bet you'll get many replies.:)

There are number of disorders classified as anxiety disorders, including OCD and PTSD, hence the reason you see them together sometimes. And while we'd be happy to consider splitting a high-traffic forum because there is so much interest in a topic it deserves its own place, with only 27 threads in the current anxiety forum, it would be hard to justify doing so....

Hi Doc and Jo.
I think the reason there are so few in anxity threads are we find a great family of support in the Bipolar. Many great members there have anxiety and we all have similar issues, I am not sure how it would go to step oin toes but sub title the Bi-polar to include anxiety/panic.

not as in TOS there is a repetative strain, Bipolar/anxiety instead of OCD, somehow include a larger family into this wonderful, such a grand set of folks that care for us all!

When new it seems like we may be splitting the bipolar forum, but the members there are FANTASTIC. But to those not advised as it is a wonderfull supportive forum, how are they going to find us all there?

just brainstorming!
