Here we go again...

Hi. New here but I've been lurking. This site seems to be more directed to brain aneurysms, but there's others...

I have 3 aneurysms. Ascending aortic artery, left common illiac artery, and abdominal aortic artery.

The ascending aortic artery dissected in January 2004. Right at the heart. They did the open heart surgery (yay - emergency - helicopter ride to the hospital!) at that time.

I just got told the left common illiac artery aneurysm needs repair. So - another surgery in a couple weeks. I'm NOT looking forward to this...

The abdominal aortic artery aneurysm is stable for now.

So, I'm a survivor and an anticipatory recipient.

Kinda sucks...

Tom

Tom,
Yeah, that sure does suck! Your post got my eye as I was scrolling around. I'm so sorry you have to endure yet more surgery. Sending prayers up and hope for your comfort and healing!

Glad to see you "over here" Tom but sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery.
I daresy you must have nearly as many patches as the knees in my pants by now.......:D

Seriously, you've been through tis before and you know you can do it, so good luck Tom.....I'll be thinking of you.

Tom,

Thankfully you are on the SURVIVOR side of this issue. Lets hope that you can add another success to that side. My prayers are with you and my best wishes are being sent your way. I hope you are back on soon to talk about your success.
