Protecting children at food events
There may be times where it is important to have a child wear a t-shirt or sticker warning other people not to give the child food because of celiac/GS or allergies. The choice of these items has increased over the past few years. Here are some sites where you can find this stuff.
There are even shirts for dogs. I need to buy my dog one but DH would never let me put it on her. At the lake she gets fed by well meaning people. I have no financial interest in any of these companies. Cafe Press has many GF (not food) items available. Here are a few I found: The Gluten Free Goddess: http://www.cafepress.com/karmuchogusto Silly Yak - if you subscribe to St Johns list there is usually a discount coupon each month : http://www.cafepress.com/sillyyakWOW Gluten Challenge: http://www.cafepress.com/glutenchallenge There are many more shops for GF apparel at Cafe Press and you will find all of them here: http://www.cafepress.com/buy/gluten Gluten Free T-shirts - also has some good links: http://gftshirts.com/ Anne |
LOL.... this one looks like a good (NOT) one to wear to holiday events if family members are resisting being tested....

My whole family history just screams gluten sensitivity. No one in my family is interested in this (except maybe Colin! LOL!). Frustrates me to no end. Rachel |

I see one of the items cost is 2.49 and it is marked up to 5.99. Is this site non profit? Where is all the fund that are being made go? |
Each link is a different store. You need to contact the owner if it is not listed where the money goes.
I have considered these for my girls. I am not sure they'd where them. It is like sticking a banner across their head screaming "I'm Different!!" |
