Me, Me, Me!
 

This a prayer request that is all about ME :p - for the sake of my husband and son. :)

I went in for a breast exam because I found a lump. I had a cyst before, quite a few years ago, so I figured he could just drain it and I could be on my way.

The news isn't good. He thinks it's cancer, and it's a lot bigger than I thought it was. Prior to the exam, he completely agreed with my theory that it was a cyst. After he examined it, he looked at me sternly and said "Kathy, this is cancer." He tried to drain it, but nothing came out. :(

I'm going to see a surgeon on Thursday. It's still possible it's a cyst (maybe he hit the wrong spot), but my doc says it's highly unlikely. :(

I'd be grateful if you would keep me in your thoughts and prayers. :)

Dear Cathy~ I will definitely keep your DH and son in my prayers, but Lady, you are getting the biggest dose of prayers right now. Please keep in mind that until you have the surgery/biopsy... nothing is for sure. So, we'll just try and think positive right now, OK??

Kathy, my prayers are with you...hearing that C word is never easy to handle for anyone. Hoping that it is something that can be taken care of easily.
