Calcium question

I recently realized that the Mag. Taurate I've been taking is mostly taurine and not much magnesium. I want to switch to Slow Mag but saw that it also has calcium in it.

I thought I read on here somewhere that it is not good for brain injured people to take calcium. Is that true or am I mistaken?

Thank you

I've never read anything about calcium being a negative. I take it daily with magnesium.

Calcium can be a problem if there is too much glutamate around. That being said, it is still an essential nutrient that we need a daily intake of. Just try not to overdo it.

Right. I was hospitalize because of high blood calcium last year. I went a little nuts with the Tums. I was actually seeing things and I could hardly walk. I was in the ICU for a few days, out of my head. :o I don't remember half of the incident.
