China's terrible earthquake

Let's send up our prayers to the people in China who are suffering from a 7.+
earthquake. Deaths exceeding 8 thousand and climbing. :(

This is so sad. My son was telling me about the 900 students buried under a building. Prayers going up.

I've been watching it on TV. It's awful. All those poor people. Our neighbors behind us have relatives in China. He is American and she is Chinese so her folks and whole family are over there. I don't know where but I'm sure they're frantic with worry. If I see her outside today I'll ask her how they are.

Earthquake in China

Such devastation!

Watching the news tonight and just saw the news about the major earthquake there. Claim 10,000 dead but likely to be in the hundreds of thousands. :(

So I am lifting up prayers to all of the victims in China, to the victims from the cyclone in myanmar and the tornados and storms here in the US.

God Bless them all. :grouphug:

I just heard from a friend who works as a teacher in Huixi (sp?) province and am thankful she, family and co-workers are ok. She said they felt the quake but no damage. However she has asked for prayers for the many now grieving, injured and homeless:(
