poison ivy woes

WEll here I am up and am wide awake, very itchy all over and am trying to distract my arms from scratching which is really hard. It is worse in bed where it is warm...makes me itch more. I have been using many different kinds of products: wednesday got a steroid shot friday: started on steroid pills using a steroid lotion called beta val, and an ointment called diflorasone diacetate, benadryl spray and benadry pills and allegra pills during the day.

all i want to do is scratch!
ugh!

Bizi, if you get posion ivy again try putting clorox or cheaper bleach on it when it first starts(before you scratch it) and it will disappear quickly. Old remedy, but believe me it works. Will work for a bee sting too. Hope you are feeling much less itchy soon. froggie
