Our 15th year wedding anniversary....
 

our 15th year wedding anniversary is today.
We went out for dinner at an italian restaurant. Had a delicious crab cake and spinach and cream soup with the lasagna, jeff had a sea bass like fish that was wonderful. mint souffle for desert. wonderful meal. We exchanged gifts prior to dinner.
lovely cards and gifts. I bought us a mantel etched clock which is very nice.
Jeff surprised me with a trip to pensicola florida!!!! We leave on friday and get back on sunday.
Some how he was able to get us a great discounted stay at our motel that we like to stay in...the paradise inn....with the tiki hut on the beach...where I usually get bush whacked...lol
The hurricane is headed toward the east coast but have no idea where it will really end up....so we may be just hanging out in the rain under the tiki hut.

so far the hurricane is tracking pretty well as forecast, actually it veered a smidgeon more to the east. current satellite animation shows wide spread but mostly on the atlantic side and tail... you should be far enough away to be ok and get some sun.

that is unless the storm systems currently over Lousiana follow you to Pensacola! :eek:

really did, Bizi! :) heck... every time you guys go out...

I hope you will still be able to get to Florida for your trip, not sure how Irene is affecting the Florida area?

My DH and I had our 36th anniversary on August 2nd - apart, mostly. I'm hoping he is D/C before summer officially ends! He's been hospitalized since before the actual day that summer began. :( I'd hate for him to miss the entire summer, and instead spend the whole season in the hospital...
