Hi all,
I won't go into too much of the past history. Surgery 3 years ago for spondylethesis L5 Grade 4. RSD symptoms started the day after surgery and have progressed to my whole body.
I've attempted to find triggers (dairy, weather, stress!) What triggers have anyone noticed?

Second, I live in Portland, and can not find a doctor here who is up to date in at least the last decade (Lol) of RSD CRPS knowledge of treatment and pathophysiology.
Any suggestions?

Hi Muse and welcome.
Sorry for not being able to with a doc in your area, I'm on the other side of the country.
A lot of folks refer to this website: http://www.healthgrades.com/physicia...ooshmand-x3sn8

Hope this helps...

Hi Muse - welcome!

Regarding triggers - there are so many things that trigger increased pain for me personally a few that stand out are: temperature fluctuations up/down of more than 10 degrees, tactile stimulation, even the slightest bit of cool air touching my legs, busy environments, emotions, vibration like from riding in a car, noise, being startled, taking a shower.. oh the list goes on. Unfortunately avoiding all these things will only make it worse..

Here is a doctor who I've seen recommended by others in your area: http://www.theportlandclinic.com/doc...k-kallgren-md/

Wishing you luck in finding a good care team!

Welcome ,
I'm sorry you are suffering with rsd ,triggers can be from many forms and mostly stress is the worse trigger .
Check also www.rsds.org and www.rsdhope.org you might find something that will help you with the triggers and how to learn to handle and avoid then.
:grouphug: gentle hugs with loving care ,Jesika .
