Acupuncture & PD

A friend who is studying TCM sent me this and I thought it was interesting enough to share. Does anyone have experience with these particulars?

Hi Ibby,
I didn't read the website you posted however, I had acupuncture 3 times a week for 6 months in the early days of a formal diagnosis of PD.
I was 35 and at the start of the acupuncture fairly asymptomatic however the Parkinsons symptoms marched on.
The Drs who performed the acupuncture were both eastern trained in acupuncture and western trained in medicine and had a good reputation.
My husband is Chinese and asked around and got what he considered good care for me in that respect.
Just my opinion, I've heard of others who've benefitted so that's the upside.

acupuncture does help, with dystonia especially. It gave me relief for 3-4 days, pre-DBS Your acupuncturists training is of paramount importance!
