Has anyone else ever have a day you wake up feeling drunk but know you haven't had one in over a year? I think my cats tried to smother me last night because I wouldn't give them extra food and treats thats why I feel this way:eek:. Post what ever y'all want. Keep smiling and thinking happy thoughts.

Lol! Poor starving kitties. :P I have a beagle who also feels I do not feed her enough. But then, she is a beagle so there is no such thing as enough food.

I am working from home today (yay!). I am now sitting here wondering why I reached into the microwave with my right hand, you know, the one with CRPS. Doh! I know I didn't actually burn my finger but I wish someone would tell my finger that.

I hope your little one gives you a chance to have a good nap today (and the CRPS lets you, of course).

To our goobers and brats its all about perspective. They want there for they will try everything in their power to get. Mine wanted canned food. Most canned food has grain and they are on a grain free diet. I can't bend over and clean up vomit 30 times a day lol. Now my goober boy wants out of his room because he's awake. Surprised the other brat hasnt decided to add her voice lol. They keep us smiling and grounded when we are feeling like we are bein blown around in a tornado. Well time to feed goobers and release my tyrant lol.:wink:

I should add, I wouldn't trade my greedy, wonderful little beagle princess for the world. She is such a joy. She has the most beautiful 'singing' voice I have ever heard. And there is just no substitute for her furry little loveliness all curled up next to me on the couch snoring gently (okay, sometimes not so gently).

I know how you feel. Mine are my brats. I even had a dr once tell me to get rid of my big 4 legger cause I was getting hurt by her. She is MY brats and just because she doesnt do everything perfect doesnt mean I will get rid of her. My brat cats get me at times and they are still with me. The only way to get me to part with my bratsbis to kill me. They are just as much my kids as my 2 legged children are. Plus ive had her 8 yrs and wouldn't want to subject someone else unknowingly to her quirks lol or her to abuse.

Here are my babies... they bring a smile to my face and giggling in my heart each and every day!! Jaxson, Piston and Buddy.

I had a Buddy. He was a big ole lug of a lab. Had to have him go to the eternal doggy playground because of medical issues on him not me. If I had a choice he would still be here, but between my CRPS his hip dysplasia and epylepsy he wasn't doing well on the meds. He was a charmer too. He would lay on your feet and want you to lay on him and love him. Then he would stretchas long and he could go and make the weirdest faces lol. Maggie makes funny faces but she's not as expressive and he was. I couldn't imagine my life without a brat around. If all of mine were gone I would HAVE to get another. They help to keep my mind off my health issues and in the here and now. They don't understand why you hurt or are feeling sad they just love you unconditionally. They want to help you too. Even if Maggie accidentally hurts my knee and I holler she backs off and goes to the otherside to try and help me through the worst of it. Even if that means she has to be a clown to do it lol. She also runs my son around the house to get out extra energy lol.:yahoo:

Has anyone noticed that the pets know instinctively which part of your body has RSD, and will avoid that part of your body? I have pure black kitty named Sasquatch.....Sassy for short LOL!!

He will come up and playfully bat at my leg sometimes, or rub his head against my leg wanting to be scratched. But he never touches my right leg...the leg with RSD. He will sniff the RSD leg up and down, then go over and give the left leg a big rub with his head. :)

My cocker spaniel sits on my CRPS foot lol....and walks across it.....and bangs it :rolleyes: but then she is a bit dappy, bless her.

BUT....good point - interestingly, my dog and my parents' two dogs both show a particular interest in my CRPS leg at times, and will stop and sniff it up and down. Always makes me think of those dogs that can sniff out cancer. I wonder if there is something they can detect then? I feel another research opportunity for some inquisitive scientist out there. I hope they keep an eye on these boards....;)
