hi I am new to this site. I have been withdrawing from klonipin for 9 months and I have been off of it for 1 month after 17 yrs of use. i have been so ill. anyway, I am having alot of chest pain/nerve pain in my chest wall it is like burning and trying to figure out what it is, and starting to do research on neuropathy and found this website. so glad I did. the only thing that helps this burning is tramadol, and I have also noticed it makes me feel better happier and able to tolerate this feeling. I don't want to get addicted to it and I want to learn other things that can help me with this. so I hope I am at the right place thank you and blessings. jackie:)

Hi Jackie. My name is Melody and I wanted to welcome you. Right now I'm off my feet because my left knee gave way. I have degenerative joint disease and I collapsed at a bus stop and had to phone my husband who came with a wheelchair. So we have our crosses, don't we. My husband has had severe neuropathy for years. Years ago he tried tramadol. Didn't do a thing for him. I have learned that what works for some, do not work for others. For some people taking a B-12 supplment (Methyl B-12) not the other form Cyano), well they have found that it lessens their symptoms.

I certainly wish you better days ahead.

Take care

Melody

Hello Jackie!

Welcome to NT!

You've come to a wonderful place of support and understanding!
There are many caring people here, easy to talk to, and very down-to-earth, so make yourself right at home. Look through the different forums and post anywhere you feel inclined.
You'll probably get good feedback in the Medication Forum regarding the Klonopin and Tramadol.

Just holler if you have any questions or need help in finding your way around.

It's great to have you!

Caring,
Rae
