Want to say HI to my long time buddies

Sorry I haven't been around for awhile. Life has changed so much. My DD moved to Ky. in Dec 2013, stayed with me for 5 months also with her DH and two german shepards, I have one so a total of 3 shepards. They finally bought a house and moved about a month ago.
Went through the depression of them leaving again also my dog went through her depression after her buddies left. They live 35 minutes from me. someone may say that's not to far, but as you know with the MS even if it is only 5 min. away there are the days that you can't see clear and the body just does not get going.

I also had to have another major surgery in March, a very bad hernia developed from the surgery on had in August. I am still having problems with the March surgery. I have to where a wrap around support on my stomach everyday to hope that no more damage happens. With the warm weather this is driving me crazy. My stress level is making the ms act up. I am having problems with my legs they don't want to behave and do what I want them to do ( I know you all know what I mean) just trying to make some jest out of this horrible disease.:Sob:

Will try to write more often. I have been checking a lot and reading posts but just have not had been able to put my thoughts in type.

Take care everyone that remembers me, and hope to make new buddies.

Jappy

Good to hear from you again. Joyce, in neighboring southern Indiana

Gentle hugs for all the carp MS is giving you...

how about getting a companion dog for your pup? Just kidding...you have enough on your plate. It's difficult when our kids move away...two of my four lives out of our area...and they're the kids who have kids, so we don't see the babies very often:(

Hi Joyce. Darn those kids, couldn't they have stayed a little closer? Grrrrr!
What were they thinking? Oh well. at least they are within visiting distance.
Maybe you could make it a weekly visit, just for fun. My DD lives close, but
we just see each other once a week. It's something to look forward to.

I hope and pray you get to feeling better and stronger soon.
How is your son doing?

Jappy, consider me a new-ish friend. I said a prayer for you. The board is keeping God busy!

I hope things improve for you,

Love & chocolate,
ANN

Sally my DD just picked me up today, we did a little shopping, had lunch out. She just called me to say if felt like old times when we were all together in NJ. When they were staying here, it was that bad winter and they were just interested in finding a house to buy, so we didn't do much of the mother, DD thing we used to do. At least now it is a 35min-40min trip not a 12hr. trip.

Hi Joyce!

Thanks for checking in. I have been praying for you and was hoping your recovery was going well. I'm sorry the binder/support is giving you trouble. I would think it would be bothersome when it's so hot. I wonder if they make cooling abdominal binders. Now that would be nice.

I completely understand about the kids living 35 minutes away. That's about how long it takes to get to my girls' house. It is too far for me to drive that and that 35 minutes seems like so far away. I wish they were 5 minutes away and I know they wish it too. Our visits are mostly planned visits with the exception of them occasionally dropping by if they are in the area. It's hard when we're trying to figure out getting me to the store to do grocery shopping and them fitting it in to their schedules. So, I do understand.

Hang in there and keep checking in!
