about physio therapy and the posture
I see a ( RPG ) which is a physio with more knowledge of the humain body. I am not sure what is the right word in english ( i am french  ) but i think it is a Reedução Postural Global in Spanish!! and Rééducation Posturale Globale in english so RPG as well i guess. She the only one to make a differance with my pain and she spend lots of time with me on every session (50 to 70 minutes) so i feel like if she is really taking care of me and i am sure she do. Emphasis is all about do my exercises minimum twice a day so pretty much all about the disipline which is the hardest parts. She say, i do 20% of the work and the rest is up to you, if you do what i tell you to do or not. Pretty much all about basic posture exercises, no neck streches ( Neck streches makes me worst when i work with regular P.T) which is the way to go for me. She work from my feet to my head. And when i say from my feet she really work to it. Anyway if you have the chance to find one i think you shuld try it.

How about a web site? Like a directory or an organization?
Based on my own searching I found this: https://sites.google.com/site/rpguk1...ed-practioners Yay. One practitioner in all of the UK and one in Canada. |
Posture Expert
I've been thinking about trying to find someone to help me with my posture as well. I'm making pretty good progress on my own but it would be nice to have someone evaluate me and tell me what to work on. Problem is, I don't know who to go to. I've done some googling, but can't really find anyone close by that sounds good.

That's too bad because RPG really know the posture and what exercises you can do or you cannot do to help your self. I was amazed to see how well they know human body. It's really impressive and with no exaggeration they work with millimetres. The one I'm seeing was working with one of the best player of the history of Hockey National League, Mario Lemieux. Anyway if you are able to see one RPG even if it's just one time I think it could be great great for improvement and I'm sure they going to be able to tell you what's wrong with your posture. Anyways if you are able to I fortely recommended to you.

I want to try to go back to work next year, but my work is at a drafting table and nobody teaches you how to do that, so I would like to hire a private evaluator too. I have talked to a pt that would be willing to do it. She is a CMFT and studied with Dr. Ando at the same place. She is closer to me too. I am planning to try her next year. Take Care, JKL |
