anyone know about sciatica?

I have developed a pain that goes from the heel of my right foot all the way up my leg. Just started and have no idea what it is but it feels nerve related. I am under a lot of stress right now.

I will make an appointment with my doctor but wanted to know if anyone had anything similar

Sciatica

Dear Karolina:

You are in the right place here - I am surprised no one answered your question to date.

Do you remember what you were doing when the pain started? Were you running, walking, lifting? Usually Sciatica is a deep pain located around the hip area which radiates down the outside of your leg.....usually. Where is your pain located?

I have severe sciatica related to lower back issues and at times this is a miserable condition.

If I were you instead of guessing seek the input of a doctor.

I wish you all the best

AK Kid!

no it goes from the heel of my foot up to my hip, was sleeping when I noticed it, then got worse when I stepped on it, now comes and goes started last week - I thought maybe I had done some damage by sleeping with my other ankle/leg over this ankle - now comes and goes but definitely from the heel up and it is pretty painful

thanks for answering, any ideas, will go to my doc too
