On the right you can click to see video

The actual video can be seen if you look to the right and click.

It is an excellent start for getting the information out on celiac.

I do wish they had mentioned depression too but do applaud the mention of Neurological symptoms, migraines, iron deficiency, miscarriages and osteoporosis.

This was the perfect family to interview as they had different symptoms and mom and dad both were included in the daignosis of Celiac Disease.

Thanks Dr. Green, Dr. LaPook CBS and Katie Couric!

Although Dr. Fasano's study came up with a 20% chance of CD if you have a first degree relative with CD, I am amazed that there seem to be so many families where everyone has CD.

I agree. I think there is something they are missing because I feel like my family is much higher than 10-20% yet no one gets officially diagnosed. (Of course maybe they would if they would get tested, I don't really know)

I do wish they would stop referring to most of the symptoms as "subtle symptoms". My symptoms were not subtle!!

I too, have issue with the numbers as 4 out of 4 of us had very obvious issues that cleared (albeit, most issues not typically recognized as been those of gs) once we cut out gluten.
